An FCT High Court in Jabi has suspended Adams Oshiomhole as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Justice Danlami Senchi on Tuesday ordered Oshiomhole to step down pending the determination of the substantive suit seeking his perpetual removal as the APC Chairman.
Recall that the embattled APC National Chairman has been involved in a fight with his State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, who has in the last couple of months challenged Oshiomole’s leadership credentials.
Apart from pitching different members of the party in Edo State against the two camps, APC Governors in the country appear to be queueing in solidarity with Obaseki.
Obaseki may not be Oshiomole’s only albatross, as he is locked in a fight with some Northern cabals within the APC.
Meanwhile, hours after the court ordered his suspension the National Secretariat of APC in Abuja witnessed an unusual presence of Policemen, with sketchy details of their mission.
